Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Personal Assistant to provide support and assistance to individuals in need. As a Personal Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the well-being and comfort of our clients. This is a paid position that requires lifting and direct support for individuals with various needs.

Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with daily activities such as personal care, meal preparation, and medication reminders
- Provide emotional support and companionship to clients
- Ensure the safety and security of clients at all times
- Maintain accurate records of client interactions and progress
- Adhere to all relevant policies and procedures, including HIPAA guidelines
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to coordinate care plans
- Advocate for resident rights and ensure their dignity is respected
- Assist with hospice care for terminally ill clients
- Perform heavy lifting as required to assist clients with mobility

Qualifications:
- Previous experience in social work, patient care, or direct support is preferred
- Knowledge of resident rights and regulations is a plus
- Familiarity with HIPAA guidelines and maintaining confidentiality
- Ability to work effectively with individuals with autism or other developmental disabilities
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Compassionate and empathetic nature
- Ability to handle physical demands of the job, including heavy lifting
